GSN has moved the World Poker Tour and High Stakes Poker to Sunday nights. HSP begins at 7 ET, followed by the WPT at 9. “We think poker on Sunday night is a great way for viewers to end their weekend and begin their week,” said Kevin Belinkoff, vice president of original programming and development at GSN. “With High Stakes Poker and World Poker Tour, we’re proud to have the best poker in the world and we’re looking forward to establishing Sunday night on GSN as the home of poker on television.” High Stakes Poker, which is entering its fifth season, is the richest cash game in the history of television, with the final seven episodes of Season Four featuring a history-making top table prize of up to and over $5 million. Since its inception, WPT’s no-limit hold’em tournaments have awarded more than $300 million in cash prizes. New Latin Tour Begins The first Latin Series of Poker events begin November 14 and continue through November 23 at the Martino Resort and Casino in Alajuela, Costa Rica. All events are no-limit hold’em with buy-ins ranging from $235 to $3155. Starting stacks range from 2500 to 6000. For an additional $20, players may double their starting stack with all money going to the staff.
